Job Title: Print Operations Specialist

Job Overview

The Print Operations Specialist supports organization-wide printing needs by managing and producing a wide range of printed materials for multiple locations. Working under general direction, this role ensures all print jobs meet established quality standards, brand guidelines, and delivery timelines. The position collaborates closely with creative, marketing, and development partners to maintain consistency and accuracy across all printed communications.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manages print production requests from internal stakeholders and oversees projects from intake through final delivery
  • Produces and finishes a wide variety of printed materials including brochures, flyers, booklets, forms, labels, signage, mailings, and promotional pieces
  • Establishes and maintains efficient production and mailing workflows, tracking schedules and job status
  • Coordinates with external vendors to procure paper, supplies, and finishing services while balancing cost, quality, and turnaround time
  • Acts as a technical resource for prepress preparation, color management, printing standards, and production timelines
  • Provides backup support for mail services as needed, including operating postage meters, handling bulk mail, and distributing internal and external mail

Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, MUST have 1-2 years of experience in PRINT

Experience

  • Three or more years of experience in a digital print or production environment preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Comprehensive knowledge of print production workflows for both small- and large-format jobs
  • Strong proficiency with EFI Fiery systems, including job setup, imposition, and color calibration tools
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
  • Advanced understanding of color management, paper profiling, PMS matching, and brand color accuracy
  • Ability to evaluate and correct digital files to ensure print readiness
  • Hands-on capability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues, including trained customer repairs
  • Exceptional attention to detail, particularly related to color consistency and finishing quality
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Temp to hire, $22-25/hour.
